Our Sunday School year begins on September 12, 2010. We are in need of adults to assist in Sunday School each week with set
up & take down and general supervision of the children. Contact Dulcie Gretton (240-2953)
New Worship
In September 2010 worship at Good Shepherd will be expanded to include an alternate liturgy one Sunday a month at the 10am
service. This Eucharistic service will be influenced by Celtic prayer and 'emergent' liturgy. It will take a similar shape
to our regular Book of Alternative Services Eucharist, but will experiment with contemporary ways of sharing the gospel message.
Christian Education
Why not sign up for The Good and Beautiful Life? Last spring we undertook a study of The Good and Beautiful
God by James Smith. Starting mid-September we will continue with the next in his Apprenticeship Series. We will be challenged
to examine our notions of happiness & success & to update them with Jesus' narratives about life in the kingdom of God.
This study will be held on alternate Wednesday evenings. Watch for a display & sign up table.
