Important Dates & Upcoming Events
Saturday, November 29th
• Christmas Bazaar! Join us for our annual Christmas Bazaar from 10am - 2pm. Homemade goods, baking, canned goods, jewelry, artisanal crafts, children's books, lunch room ($5.00 will get you a delicious lunch!), and a kid's area with a fish pond and cake walk.
Sunday November 30th & December 7th
• Sunday School - pageant rehearsals. Speak with Holly Young if your child is able to take part.
Card Night at the Good Shepherd
Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7:00pm - 10:00pm for card night! Games featured include cribbage, whist & euchre (4 or 6 handed). Come and learn a new game! For more information, contact Kathy Kibblewhite at 403-249-6448 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Social group for women in their 20's to 40's. We meet up every couple of months to have fun and get to know each other better. Activities in the past have included wine and cheese nights, bowling, painting pottery and a clothing swap. Speak with Kersi for more information.
Good Shepherd Art Studio
The following are upcoming courses at the Good Shepherd Art Studio. For more information, please email email@example.com. In most cases, supplies are included but please bring your basic “kit” and favorite “stuff”.
Thursdays, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., on-going
This is a “drop-in” at the studio. Bring your own project and supplies. You’re welcome to make use of studio toys, references and books! Create with the supportive and inspiring companionship of other artists. $5/visit or $25 for a 6 week pass (doesn’t have to be consecutive).
Tuesday, Oct. 28 – Dec. 2; 10 a.m. to noon or 7 – 9 p.m.; 6 weeks, $85
Creative Journaling: Permission to dream
Do you remember wonder full daydreams when you were a child? Did someone tell you that it was counterproductive? The creative process depends on your dreams. Let’s give ourselves permission to dream and to explore those dreams creatively in our journals. Eleanor Roosevelt said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Will you?

Mixed Media: Books, and even more books continues
In the last Wednesday class, we made hard cover novels, star books, origami books and lots of minis. Back by popular demand is a continuation of book making including some page treatments for our newest creations!
