On October 2, 2011, the Church of the Good Shepherd had a blessing of the animals service at the 10am service.  What a fantastic way to rejoice in God's beautiful creation all around us! Many parishoners brought in their lovable, furry, companion animals who received a special blessing from Rev. Kersi.  This was a very special service, with many of the prayers focusing on the animals in the world around us.  We all enjoyed the howls and woofs (and the occasional meow) as we sang the hymns and said the prayers.
