PENTECOST 5 - Romans 7:15-25; Matthew 11:16-19; 25-30

Is Paul contradicting Jesus? Is Jesus's promise that his "yoke is easy" and his "burden is light" an overstatement in the light of our experience? And what does Paul mean when he says that when he does the wrong thing, it's not he that is doing it, but sin within him?

Romans 7 is a key passage in the letter and this sermon explores both the challenge and the comfort to be found in Paul's personal description of living the Christian life.
