The P.O.V. Café presents an opportunity to explore tactics that affect communities in which we live, work and play. Each event features a presentation followed by discussion so that our broadened perspective might influence how we respond and relate to others. On March 6th we'll discuss the problem of:

Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation

Eight hundred thousand people are trafficked across internation borders each year, with more than 70 percent of them being women and over half being children. That this actually happens in Calgary is disturbing.  Melonie Michaud from the SA Foundation will talk about how we can recognize and address this problem.
