Making Room for Prophetic Voices

The idea of prophets and prophecies is often considered an ancient or at least medieval point of view, dealing with foretelling the future and making statements that no one could know. This is not the view about prophets and prophecies in the Bible, however. Further, that there are those who speak prophetically among us these days is not the out-of-place idea many might consider it to be. In fact, as a member of the Body of Christ, you might very well be able to speak prophetically into the lives of others!
