PENTECOST 23 - Deuteronomy 6:1-9; Mark 12:28-34

How is it that the two great commandments are sufficient enough for it to be said that they summarize the whole of the law? The Torah contains not only the ten commandments, but a total of 613 commandments, according to Jewish understanding. Can this really be boiled down to two?

After reviewing the origin of these two greatest commandments, Rev Derwyn explores why they can be said to be the summary of the whole Torah and why this is of great benefit to us as modern followers of Jesus.
