CHRISTMAS - Matthew 1:18-2:23; Luke 1:26-56, 2:1-40

Did you know that there are actually two stories of the birth of Jesus Christ in the Bible? The Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke tell these stories. We tend to put them together in an attempt to have one story, but when we do that, we inevitably lose some of the things said by either Matthew or Luke about Jesus's birth. In this special service, Rev Derwyn tells both Christmas stories from the Bible with the help of a "map" of the Middle East on the floor and the characters from a creche (nativity scene). At the end, he takes the time to answer some questions, which may be hard to hear on the video...

You might want to read the Christmas stories from the Bible yourself to see how they differ: Matthew 1:18-2:23; Luke 1:26-56, 2:1-40.
