THANKSGIVING - Deuteronomy 5:1-21, 6:4-9; Mark 12:28-34

It's Thanksgiving, but we're still following the story of Israel. Deuteronomy (which means "second law") features Moses delivering the 10 commandments to the Israelites a second time. But why does this happen? As we look at the narrative from Exodus and Numbers, we find seven episodes in the story that point to the reason. So what do we conclude from this story? What do we do with it today? And what does it say about this weekend's theme of being thankful?
