The final chapter of the book of Hebrews is interesting in that it concludes with an application for the listeners of the sermon recorded in the book, but that application is rather unexpected. After spending 12 chapters articulating why the Gospel is superior to the Torah, the author then calls his listeners to act in a way that does not require Christian faith to accomplish.
