In this sermon, Rev Derwyn continues the thematic thread Rev Margaret introduced on Ash Wednesday. Once again contrasting the concept of metanoia against paranoia, he invites us to consider the season of Lent differently than the way the Christian tradition has typically approached it. In short, Rev Derwyn argues that Lent has become a reflection of the very thinking that Jesus called the people of his day to leave behind, and offers a more expansive way to consider the season.
