Making Sense of the Ascension

Modern cosmology presents a challenge to the story of the Ascension of Jesus Christ. But if one considers that the story was composed back when an ancient cosmology was understood, the point of the story makes more sense. But how are we to take that today? In this sermon, Rev Derwyn directs us to consider the meaning of the Ascension story as opposed to defending its historicity.
