TRINITY - 2 Corinthians 13:11-13; Matthew 28:16-20

NOTE: Due to technical circumstances (in which I forgot to turn on my mic . . . again), the audio for the sermon is not as good as it should be. Enjoy the clarity of Trish's voice as she reads the Scriptures and listen carefully to Rev Derwyn's rather distant sounding voice . . . Sorry about that!

For the majority of the 200,000 year history of homo sapiens, we have been trying to understand the nature of the transcendent/the divine/God (whoever he, she, it, or they are). A significant part of the Christian understanding of God is that God has revealed Godself to us; that we're not left entirely on our own to figure God out. This revelation has led us to what has become known as the doctrine of the Trinity. But just knowing a doctrine is not sufficient; it is in grasping the implications of such an understanding of God that makes the difference because that is what shapes and influences how we conduct ourselves in the world.
