EASTER 5 - 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17; Mark 7:1-23

Continuing in the theme of considering aspects of our religious thinking that may need to be reviewed and revised, Reverend Margaret discusses the good and the bad associated with tradition. Traditions make us who we are as a community and help us stay the course, but if held too tightly, traditions can become more important than the truth of the gospel and Jesus's teaching. We cannot allow traditions to separate us from those we ought to love and serve. Traditions are tools in our journey of faith, not walls to use in excluding others or excuses to break off relationships.
